The next booster meeting will be Monday, August 16 @ 7pm in the High School Band Room (Door 5). Future band meetings will resume on the second Monday each month.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS
As we approach Band Camp 2021 this year at Camp Muskingum we are still in need of parent volunteers to chaperone at the camp. If you are interested in volunteering please email Mike Boyea at ghsbandcamp@gmail.com. We especially need more male chaperones!
Additional information around Band Camp and the Marching Band 2021 season should have been sent home with the students today. Please review the packets. The website will be updated over next few weeks to include this information as well as additional information and volunteer opportunities that will need to filled so we can have a great and successful marching season!
There will be a chaperone/nurses meeting for band camp this coming Tuesday August 3rd at 7pm at the GHS band room. There will be forms to sign as well as basic information for chaperones for the camp.
Last Fundraiser for 20-21 School Year
Wednesday is the last opportunity to help raise funds for the band this school year.
Join us on May 19th from 4-8 pm at the Chipotle at 1840 Franks Pkwy in Green. Please tell the casheir you are supporting the Green Band Boosters to make sure your 33% of the proceeds will be donated to the band.
And new this month, your pick up orders will count, too! Enter code F6A4CFV in the promo code box before checkout on their website or app. Using this code will allow your order to count towards the fundrasier!

Fundraising Opportunities
We have two Dining to Donate opportunities coming up. First is January 27 at Five Guys in Arlington Ridge Plaza. Next, TGI Fridays in Green has offered Dining to Donate on the second Tuesday of every month beginning February 9th! This is a great way to support our band and local businesses at the same time! Serra Auto Park has donated another awesome truck for our annual raffle. Your students (8th grade and up) have tickets and if you need more, please get in touch with Jean Hedrick.
Tickets are $20 this year. The drawing will be held at Serra Chevrolet on May 15th, winner does not need to be present.
Finally, please send any Acme Receipts in with your student by Jan 29th.
